The Slipper and the Rose is a 1976 fantasy musical film based on the classic fairy tale, Cinderella. Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman received two Academy Award nominations for "Best Song" and "Best Song Score" respectively. The Sherman Brothers also provided the screenplay for the film.
