"You're the One and Only One" is a song from the Welcome to Pooh Corner Cable TV series which premiered in 1983 on the Disney Channel (which was also that channel's inaugural season). The song was written by the Academy Award winning songwriting duo of Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman.

"You're the One and Only One" originally debuted in the episode "Piglet Pride" and was sung twice; once by Tigger and again in a reprise by Piglet. It later reappeared in "Sing a Song with Pooh Bear (and Piglet Too)" with the song being performed by Eeyore and Piglet.

Lyrics Edit

Pooh: I feel like only half a Pooh with no song.

Piglet: Pooh, You mustn't feel that way. You have to be strong.

Eeyore: Stand tall.

Piglet: You're in a class by yourself.

Eeyore: Be proud.

Piglet: You're not like anyone else.

No doubt about it.

You're second to none,

'Cause you're the one and only one.

Eeyore: Chin up.

Piglet: 'Cause you are one of a kind.

Eeyore: Chest out. (Whoa.)

Piglet: We know that we'll never find.

Anyone like you under the sun,

'Cause you're the one and only one.

If everybody were like everybody else,

How boring it would be.

The things that make me different

Are the things that make me, me!

Eeyore: Stand tall.

Piglet: You're in a class by yourself.

Eeyore: Be proud.

Piglet: You're not like anyone else.

No doubt about it.

You're second to none,

'Cause you're the one and only one. (Whoo-hoo-hoo!)

Eeyore: If everybody were like everybody else,

How boring it would be.

The things that make me different

Are the things that make me, me.

Stand tall.

You're in a class by yourself.

Be proud.

Piglet: You're not like anyone else.

Eeyore and Piglet: No doubt about it.

You're second to none,

'Cause you're the one and only,

Genuine original,

You're the one and only one.

Pooh: Aha!
